Growing Up

A morning of a day seems big but the end of the day lends a thought of smallness, and a quiet knowing that the day actually went swiftly through the motions of life.

We are instructed to teach our Children in the Word, and how? By reading, praying, teaching, loving, responding, meditating, and LIVING the Chrisitan Walk to the best of our abilities, or, rather, with God's mercy and grace.

Something that I attribute to the long lasting breath of life throughout my life are the prayers of my parents, and my God-fearing grandparents.

Praying...do we do this often? Do we really know the impact it has on the now, and even the future generations?

James 5:16 "..the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.."

A righteous person has a definite power in his/her prayer from the Lord. What a gift that is, to be able to pray.

When I grow up, I wish to be as much as a prayer warrior as my grandparents, who have truly set a high example of a righteous person who prayers...diligently, effectively, no matter what the circumstance.

The power of prayer is almost incomprehensible to us. But NOT to God.
